Fundraising for the National Eczema Society
Getting involved
There are a hundred and one ways of fundraising for the National Eczema Society: from shaking a collecting tin outside your local supermarket to sponsored walks and cycle rides or even running the marathon.
But don’t be put off by thinking you have to make an enormous effort or do something really spectacular – not that we wouldn’t applaud you if you did. However, if all our members and supporters could raise just a little, those small amounts would soon become one large amount. Perhaps you could hold a coffee morning? Or could you persuade your school to have a non-uniform day for charity?
It doesn't have to be serious. In fact, the more fun you can create, the more willing you will find other people will be to participate and not just in the event but in its organisation as well. Many members and supporters had tremendous fun in 2007 holding pyjama parties. But there is no limit to the sorts of party you can have – toga, grass skirt, 80s theme, even top hat if you want.
