gr sq The name originates from an article in The Guardian newspaper, printed in 1975, which sparked off the formation of the Society, when it was suggested that those affected might be able to exchange their views and experiences.

gr sq Today Exchange is a 48-page colour journal, where members’ contributions now mix with feature articles from healthcare professionals, news items and research reports.

Exchange includes:

·        feature articles by leading health care professionals;

·         information pages prepared by our Information Team plus a Q&A page on topical issues being raised with us;

·        a forum for readers to swap suggestions: the letters pages are a mine of useful ideas;

·        a consumer review page alerting you to new products coming onto the market;

·        lifestyle features and personal success stories;

·        details of our network of local support groups: forthcoming meetings and how to contact them; and

·        by no means least, our Young Exchange section written for children (and often in large part by them) to show that having eczema doesn’t have to mean no fun.
