Walking the Coventry Way for charity...
For Warwick Hospital dermatology nurse Wendy Seaton, the weekend of the 12th and 13th September centred around a tough physical challenge as she set off, with her husband Jim, to walk the Coventry Way – a 40-mile route circling the city of Coventry – in aid of the National Eczema Society.
The sponsored Walk coincided with the buildup to charity’s annual awareness campaign - National Eczema Week (19-27th September) and as well as raising much needed funds for the Society, the intention was to increase awareness of this distressing condition and to let people know that there is help available both nationally and at a local level. Well done to Wendy and Jim for their fantastic efforts in raising nearly £700 to date.
